Help Us Bridge The Gap
Breadwinners strives to bridge a critical gap for families dealing with the loss of their primary breadwinner. Forced to confront immediate financial strain, this crisis can cause overwhelming difficulties for a grieving family. They are often vulnerable and at risk for economic hardship and poverty. We provide short term financial support to assist with basic needs.
We rely on donations from individuals, groups and corporations to help us ensure that families have a safety net during this difficult time. There are many ways you can help:
- We invite individuals to make monetary contributions to the foundation at any time. We also welcome gifts in honor of or in memory of someone who has touched your life. A special occasion such as a wedding, Mother's Day, an anniversary or birthday is a perfect time to make your gift count and let your loved ones know that you care.
- Corporate and community partners help us maximize the effect of our fundraising efforts. Our commitment to make every dollar count is real. With only one staff member, we utilize the skills and talents of a diverse group of volunteers to fulfill our mission. This keeps our costs low, and that means more of your contribution is directed to the families we assist.
- We are excited to offer you a new way to support The Breadwinners Foundation! eBay and MissionFish have teamed up to form eBay Giving Works, an exciting way for buyers and sellers to support their favorite causes through trading on eBay.
