The Fallout of an Economic Depression

42 year old T. was an office manager in Colorado, happily married and busy raising two adolescent boys. Plagued with health problems, she found herself in and out of the hospital, losing weeks of her much needed income. She had been the family's principle breadwinner since her husband's layoff more than a year before. The country's economic downturn was profoundly impacting her husband's chances of finding a job...any job. When she fell into a diabetic coma and died a few months later, she left no life insurance and a grieving family on the brink of becoming homeless.
